Diesel fuel - 46¢ per gallon! A company named DSE claims to have developed a method for manufacturing an inexpensive, fuel that will power ANY diesel engine at a cost of only 46¢ per gallon and requires NO engine conversion (according to their website).
I am aware that there are companies that manufacture conversion kits using vegetable oil that turns it into diesel fuel. Actually, the first diesel engine was developed to do that very thing. This "new" (to me) process sounds too good to be true and I was wondering if anyone has heard of it, or better still, has anyone tried this product?
This company originated in Europe where fuel prices have always been much higher than in the USA, and apparently they are just now making noise in this country. I've added more info on my website, Dodge Truck, so check it out and let us know what you think. Thanks.

Bull Hockey! Their formulation pretty much calls for vegetable oil, xylene(octane booster), methenol, & kerosene. In cold weather this concoction will gel & clog your fuel filters. If you really want to go this route, save some $$$ & just mix kerosene & vegetable oil.
They're just trying to cash in on the biodiesel craze, which is what you want to look into anyway. Just google it. You can make biodiesel in your kitchen.
The diesel engine can burn a variety of things without modification. During WW2 the japanese ran their boats off of coconut oil. I've seen one run off of bacon fat, the exhaust smelled like hickory smoke!
